Access model
The journal is planning immediate open access without paywalls on accepted articles. Any cost-recovery charge, if introduced later, would be disclosed at least twelve months ahead; waivers will be available on documented hardship. Libraries that prefer to catalogue OA titles only should treat JBE as an electronic serial with a forthcoming ISSN.
Metadata & discovery
- Crossref DOIs — per article and issue once registration completes
- Full-text — hosted with the publisher; this domain may redirect to the canonical host
- KBART — delivered after Volume 1 Issue 1 DOIs register
- MARC — distributor-dependent; request a sample record through the contact form
Trials and comparison sets
Because content is OA, formal “trials” may be unnecessary; we can still supply title lists for consortium dashboards. Send institution name, IP ranges (if your workflow requires them for analytics), and preferred KBART format via the contact page with topic Subscriptions & access.
No print edition is committed for Volume 1. If a print-on-demand option appears, binding, ISSN on cover, and shipment hubs will be announced here and in industry catalogues.
